Chromebook Use Agreement Form

The purpose of this agreement is to ensure that all students use and care for school-issued Chromebooks responsibly. By signing below, the student and parent/guardian acknowledge receipt of the Chromebook and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Student Responsibilities

The borrower (student) agrees to:

• Use the chromebook in accordance with all school technology policies, procedures, and expectations outlined in thr Student Handbook and Chromebook Use Policy
• Keep the Chromebook safe, secure, and in good, condition at all times
• Bring the Chromebook to school fully charged each day, unless otherwise directed
• Never lendor allow another person to use the Chromebook assigned to them
• Report any damage, malfunction, loss, or theft immediately to the Technology Teacher or Front Office
• Return the Chromebook, charger, and any school-issued accessories in good condition at the end of the school year or upon withdrawal from the school.

Financial Responsibility

The borrower and parent/guardian assume full financial responsibility for the care and safety of the Chromebook and accessories issued by the school.

In the event of accidental damage, loss, theft, or careless handling, the borrower agrees to pay for repairs or replacement costs as deemed necessary by the school.

Repair / Replacement Costs

• Full Chromebook Replacement: $100
• Screen Replacement : $100
• Keyboard Replacement: $25
• Charger Replacement: $25

Additional repair costs may be assessed if damage occurs beyond those listed above.

Privacy and Monitoring

Chromebooks are school property and are intended for educational use. Students should have no expectation of privacy regarding the use of the Chromebook, internet activity, or any data stored on the device. The school reserves the right to monitor device usage in accordance with school policies.

Agreement

By signing below, the student and parent/guardian acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to abide by the terms of this Chromebook Loan Agreement and all related school technology policies.
